Harry Dailey aka Soul Pumpkin was the original  bass guitarist who jammed with the Coral Reefer Band and helped co-write the hit "Volcano." Soul Pumpkin' worked with the Reefers from 1975 to 1982. He contributed to Buffett recordings that included "Havana Daydreamin'," "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes," "Son of a Son of a Sailor," "You Had To Be There," "Volcano," "Coconut Telegraph" and "Somewhere Over China.
