Phil Clark Hero

200 years too late… The Joint pays tribute to Key West G.O.A.T. Phil Clark, one of the more colorful characters Marvin met when he first came to Key West, Florida, in the early '70s. Clark was a modern-day pirate, described in various accounts as a smuggler, a mercenary, bartender, a drug runner, reliable friend, and an adventurer. To quote Jerry Jeff and Marvin “Phil Clark was a real pirate, he just had that breathe and those eyes. I remember seeing him sail off with his girlfriend to some exotic island and said ‘God, I wish I could grow up to be a pirate like him’…” This one’s for Phil Clark!
