In 1997, JB's *Havana Daydreamin'* tour brought a unique and interactive experience to his fans with a segment called "Stumpo El Bando." During this part of the show, audience members had the chance to challenge Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band by requesting songs that the band had never performed live or had played only sparingly. The goal was to "stump" them, creating a spontaneous and often humorous moment as Buffett and the band attempted to perform the song on the spot. This fan-driven segment showcased Buffett’s laid-back, playful stage persona and highlighted the deep connection he had with his loyal fanbase.
